Free Yoga for Healthy Aging Class
Join me for a free 30 minute class on Yoga for Healthy Aging. Monday 2/17, 12-12:30pm CST Join me live-streaming on Zoom or watch the replay (available on 2/18 for you to watch and at your convenience).
Did you know after the age of 30 we naturally lose 3-8% of muscle mass each decade, but we don’t have to! Yoga is proven to help build and maintain strength. It also improves balance, which helps prevent falls, so important as we age. Yoga also improves mobility and flexibility, which can reducing pain and injury.
My style of teaching yoga prioritizes functional fitness, like helping you carry your laundry up the stairs, lift the heavy bag of groceries, and get on the floor to play with your furry friends or grandkids.
No experience necessary, beginners and seniors are encouraged to join. Props, yoga mat, 2 foam yoga blocks, and resistance bands (optional).
